The work can include governance reviews, clearer board and executive responsibilities, decision-making arrangements, role design and organisational structure. We build from what already works and involve the people who will carry the changes forward.
Fractional executive leadership
Experienced leadership for organisations that need sustained executive capacity without a full-time appointment. Tarmo works alongside your board or leadership team through a transition, a capacity gap or a period of change.
Each engagement defines the mandate, authority, time commitment and priorities. The focus is practical leadership: making decisions, supporting people, strengthening accountability and moving agreed work forward.
Strategy and implementation
Turn strategic intent into priorities people can act on. We work through the choices, assumptions and trade-offs behind your direction, then connect them to responsibilities, resources and decisions.
The work can include strategic planning, facilitated leadership discussions, implementation plans and ways to review progress. We keep the plan useful as circumstances change and learning emerges.
Leadership and organisational development
Strengthen the conditions in which people lead, collaborate and take responsibility. We work with leaders and teams on trust, shared expectations, leadership transitions and the patterns that shape everyday work.
Drawing on Appreciative Inquiry and systems thinking, we start with existing strengths and involve people in shaping what comes next. The aim is greater clarity, sound judgement and the capacity to keep learning.
Executive experience behind the work
Tarmo Uukkivi, Founder & Principal
Tarmo’s career spans frontline paramedicine, municipal executive leadership and provincial emergency health services. His experience includes leading operations and protective services in Huntsville, executive responsibility within Toronto Paramedic Services, and directing Ontario’s Emergency Health Services Branch.
That experience brings together service delivery, strategy, governance, policy, funding and public accountability. It informs the work; each engagement begins with your organisation’s own circumstances.
